Please read these terms carefully before using the Campus Marketplace. These policies ensure a secure academic trading environment.
To ensure a secure environment, access to the Campus Marketplace is strictly restricted to active students and personnel with valid institution credentials.
We maintain high community standards through active monitoring and user feedback.
Users are encouraged to report abusive behavior, harassment, or "no-shows" (failing to attend a scheduled meet-up without prior notice).
Administrators reserve the right to issue warnings or immediate dismissals depending on the severity of the violation.
Accumulating three active marketplace strikes results in an automatic 30-day suspension. Access is restored after the suspension period unless another active restriction applies.
Transparency is key to building trust within the campus community.
Due to the nature of student-to-student sales, we enforce a strict policy regarding the finality of transactions.
Mandatory Inspection: Buyers must thoroughly inspect the item's condition and functionality before scanning the transaction QR code.
Right to Cancel: Either party has the absolute right to cancel the transaction at the meet-up if the item does not meet expectations or descriptions.
Strict No-Return Policy: Once the QR scan is completed, the sale is considered finalized. No returns or refunds will be facilitated by the platform thereafter.
Transactions must only take place at approved campus safe zones.
The platform does not have an in-app payment system. All financial exchanges are handled directly between users.
Payment methods depend on the personal preference of the seller and buyer and must be handled during the physical meet-up.
Meet-ups should be scheduled during daylight hours and campus operating times for maximum safety.
Seller Privacy: Seller profiles are hidden from the public; only system administrators have the authority to view full seller information.
Public Ratings: A seller's aggregate rating will be visible on all their active listings to maintain accountability.
No In-App Chat: Direct messaging is disabled to prevent the exchange of sensitive personal information. All transaction logistics must be handled through the integrated Meet-up Scheduler to ensure privacy and safety.
